I do! How could I photograph a little guy like this and not?

I had such a wonderful time today meeting the b family. They are just delightful. Mr. D is such a trooper! He is such a happy baby and has the most beautiful smile. It just melts his mother’s heart when he smiles – you can tell.

My favorite time of day is the last hour or two before sundown.  Now that the days are beginning to get a little longer and the sun seems a little brighter we’ve been trying to head outside each night after dinner.  Makes me ready for the golden sunny days of summer!  If only it could stay 70 degrees year round. Enjoy a few from the evening playground time a few nights ago.

Had a wonderful session yesterday with J and her family.  We got lots of images of mom and also some fun ones of big-brother-to-be!

I absolutely love newborn sessions.  I always come to a newborn session with tons of ideas and visions of perfect poses and images – and then I am reminded that I am not in charge.  These tiny, precious ones have total control.  Newborn sessions take anywhere from an hour to three hours depending on the baby.  I never rush.  I’ve found that waiting and being patient is oh so worth the wait.

This tiny blessing is baby sister to one of my clients from the fall.  Congratulations!  I thoroughly enjoyed our session.  Here are a few quick peeks of ms c.!

I had so much fun photographing a recent Father/Daughter dance for Valentine’s Day.  Every little girl should have the chance to dress up and spend the evening with her Daddy every now and then.   These little girls were so beautiful!  Here are a few sneak peeks – please enjoy!

I had the wonderful privilege of photographing a labor/delivery last weekend.  Thank you so much for asking me.  It was a powerful experience and it was an honor to watch this sweet baby take her frist breath.  Here are a few previews. I had the honor of taking this little guy’s newborn pictures.  It’s always fun to see how little ones grow so quickly.  mr m is surely as handsome now as he was when he was born – if not more so!  Thank you H family for letting me watch your little man grow up!  Will have your other images to you soon.

robyn guy photography is expanding!  I am excited to announce maternity photography is here.  In order to build a gallery for my website, I am searching for models.

If you are pregnant (or if you know anyone due between now and March) please contact me at robyn@robynguy.com.  Am looking for women interested in the following:
outdoor maternity session
at home maternity session (client’s home)
studio maternity shots (will bring lights and equipment to client’s home)
partially clothed maternity (underwear or wrap only)
maternity session for a mom who already has children (children involved with photo session)
maternity shot with the dad (both willing to show bellies)

For these maternity sessions, there is no session fee!  The client must agree to sign a release before the session so that I can use the images on my site and for marketing purposes.  In return, I will provide a complimentary session, including 1 8×10 and 2 5×7′s of their favorite images from the session.  There is no obligation to buy anything else.
Can’t wait to hear from some moms-to-be!  Would love to hear from 5-10 women in the next couple weeks, so please help me pass the word!
