Oh, this little guy was so adorable. He slept and stretched and yawned and smiled. We had a perfect spot to take his photographs in front of a set of windows. Natural light is so wonderful especially for newborn sessions.

The past couple weeks have been so busy. My family took a much needed vacation and we spent some time visiting family in NC. Today my daughter started Kindergarten. I remember when she was this little and my, how the time has flown. I’ll have several updates for the blog in the next couple days – a glowing mom to be, a handsome 10 day old, and a three year old little guy. May have to add a few images of my Kindergartner as well!

Z family, treasure every moment with your beautiful son.

Thank you for a delightful session!

This weekend I got to meet and photograph sweet ms. e. She is so beautiful and so strong! She is a fighter and her parents are so very proud of her.

We took a picture of ms. e with mommy and daddy’s rings – when she was born her daddy’s ring fit all the way on her leg. We wanted to show how much she’s grown in just a few months. Amazing, isn’t it. Her mommy loves black and white photographs, so here are a few previews.

J and A, it was a pleasure to meet you. Your story is inspiring and I wish only the best for you all! Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to photograph your sweet baby girl.

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with two beautiful, content, happy babies. Twins – one boy and one girl. They are at such a delightful stage – tons of expressions, coos, and melt your heart belly laughs. We didn’t get to do many curly poses but we had some wonderful conversations. Babies have stories to tell with their little “agoo, agaa, agee” coos.

mr p and ms b even while asleep had the most content expressions – I would almost dare to say they smile a bit. What blessings these babies are!

Thank you L and I for having me yesterday. It was truly a pleasure to meet you and your family. Please enjoy these images. I’ll have the rest of your gallery to you soon!

Sunday afternoon I spent the afternoon with ms. i and her parents. What a beautiful little girl! Her home has amazing sliding glass doors and it was a perfect day to take some natural light photographs. She was so awake and alert for such a young baby.

When ms. i was in need of some lunch or a new diaper I got to spoil the family’s black lab, Willow. Isn’t that a perfect name for a dog? She was so friendly and cuddly – could spend the day petting her. We got a cute image of Willow and ms. i together near the end of our session.

V family, thank you so much for the delightful session. Your daughter is so precious – enjoy every moment with her! It was a pleasure to meet you and work with you. Thank you for sharing your sweet baby with me for an afternoon. I’ll have the rest of your images to you soon!

This morning I spent a couple hours with sweet ms c. She is just precious! We had a wonderful session and got to use a lovely pink monogrammed blanket and some new really cool zebra fabric. I can’t go into stores anymore without looking for that perfect something to use during a photography session. ms. c’s mom had a little zebra print bow to go with the fabric. We tried that and this really pretty red bow. How perfect!

I need to find a cow print to use with a little boy. Readers – let me know when you find great fabrics or fun props! I love trying new looks.

P family, please enjoy these images! It was truly a pleasure to meet you all this morning. Enjoy this sweet little blessing! I will have your gallery to you soon.
