Oh, this little guy was so adorable. He slept and stretched and yawned and smiled. We had a perfect spot to take his photographs in front of a set of windows. Natural light is so wonderful especially for newborn sessions.

The past couple weeks have been so busy. My family took a much needed vacation and we spent some time visiting family in NC. Today my daughter started Kindergarten. I remember when she was this little and my, how the time has flown. I’ll have several updates for the blog in the next couple days – a glowing mom to be, a handsome 10 day old, and a three year old little guy. May have to add a few images of my Kindergartner as well!

Z family, treasure every moment with your beautiful son.

Thank you for a delightful session!

Ms c is already six months old – where has this year gone? It seems like just last week she was born. We met this week to do her six month photo session. She is rolling and can sit for a bit and has the most amazing smiles and belly laughs!

She was the second baby I’ve photographed recently wearing her baptism gown. Isn’t it beautiful?

H family, please enjoy these previews!

I had a wonderful time with the V family last week. They are welcoming their sweet baby girl V into the family. We took some beautiful portraits of ms v in her baptism gown. It was so lovely – beautiful gown and bonnet. It was her mom’s when she was baptized! I love using heirlooms like this in portrait sessions.

ms v has three handsome brothers. We found a perfect spot outside for some family photos and for some images of each of the boys. Aren’t they adorable?

As we were finishing our session ms v gave it up and went to sleep. There is something so peaceful and perfect about holding a sleeping baby. This is true even when it’s 95 degrees outside.

V family, thank you so much. Enjoy your preview!

Twins are so beautiful together – there really is an amazing bond between them. Place twins next to each other and almost immediately they are calm. It’s really a blessing to be able to meet and photograph such sweet and tiny babies.

This weekend I had two sessions with newborn twins! This was my second session of the weekend and this brother/sister pair was perfect. They have a delightful family and it was a pleasure to meet them. I just loved dad’s accent!

C family, please enjoy these images. Will have the others to you soon!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting ms e.n. and ms e.g. They are so tiny and so beautiful and so very perfect. S, it was wonderful to see you and your sweet babies!

Twins are so much fun to photograph. Even when tiny they have such different personalities. It’s so much fun to watch them.

Thank you for letting me meet these lovely ladies! Will have the rest of your images to you soon.

This evening I got to meet mr. h. He loves to stretch and had the hiccups twice during our session. He has super blue eyes and is really, really strong. His nursery has an adorable jungle animal theme and he has a green blanket so soft I wish it came in adult size. He likes to listen to hair dryers, loves his paci, and is just perfect in every way.

I had the pleasure of doing his mom’s maternity session a while back. She is such a great mom already!

A, please enjoy these images. Thank you for the wonderful session! I can’t wait to see you all again as h grows.

(His pacifier made me laugh this evening. Couldn’t help including a shot of it!)

This afternoon I had a wonderful session with sleepy ms. h. I don’t think she woke up for more than a few seconds during the entire session! She is absolutely beautiful and it was so much fun meeting her.

Big brother n and big sister i were super great helpers!

S family, congratulations on the birth of your precious daughter. May your nights be filled with sleep and your days be filled with joy!

This weekend I got to meet and photograph sweet ms. e. She is so beautiful and so strong! She is a fighter and her parents are so very proud of her.

We took a picture of ms. e with mommy and daddy’s rings – when she was born her daddy’s ring fit all the way on her leg. We wanted to show how much she’s grown in just a few months. Amazing, isn’t it. Her mommy loves black and white photographs, so here are a few previews.

J and A, it was a pleasure to meet you. Your story is inspiring and I wish only the best for you all! Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to photograph your sweet baby girl.

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with two beautiful, content, happy babies. Twins – one boy and one girl. They are at such a delightful stage – tons of expressions, coos, and melt your heart belly laughs. We didn’t get to do many curly poses but we had some wonderful conversations. Babies have stories to tell with their little “agoo, agaa, agee” coos.

mr p and ms b even while asleep had the most content expressions – I would almost dare to say they smile a bit. What blessings these babies are!

Thank you L and I for having me yesterday. It was truly a pleasure to meet you and your family. Please enjoy these images. I’ll have the rest of your gallery to you soon!

This weekend I had the privilege of meeting ms. m. She was a perfect little lady and her session was tons of fun. We had some beautiful sleepy poses and some wonderful wide awake moments. Her big sister A was a great helper ~ she loves trying to find the ladybug who lives in my camera.

I had the pleasure of photographing mom for her maternity session and I love being able to come back and meet the baby! P family, thank you so much for having me. I hope you enjoy these previews. I’ll have the rest of your images to you soon.
