Alpharetta and Johns Creek Photography ~ loving spring

Pollen aside, spring is one of my favorite seasons. It’s so refreshing to see flowers and trees and grass come back to life.

Tonight after dinner I went outside to just play a bit. Here are some flowers from my front yard. As I was shooting an image of the pink flowers, out of the corner of my eye I noticed a lady bug. What a great reminder to always have your eyes open. See the things you may not have been looking for. Sometimes during a session my favorite image comes from a totally unplanned and unexpected moment.

I challenge you to take a few moments this weekend to look around. Let something surprise you and bring you joy! Oh, and if you happen to know what kind of flower/bush that pink flower is please leave me a comment!

The pink flower looks like a type of azalea or rose maybe. I’m no plant expert. :o )

LOVE these! They’re beautiful. The top one is an antique mini rose. I used to have them in Iowa on our old farm. I’m not positive if you can buy them anymore? But I know people always wanted peices of our plant. The flowers were so cute!

I’m so jealous. You’re already getting pics of flowers and ladybugs, and all we have around here is half frozen mud and a lot of wind. I can’t wait for spring to actually be “springy.” These look beautiful.

Thanks for the challenge Robyn, you are completely right about keeping your eyes open and seeing something you might not have otherwise. What a great reminder!
